Twilight Alchemist 27.2

27.2. When The Goal Is Achieved, You Can Be Satisfied, Isn't It?

Golden Dawn Pioneer Village's chief, the Frontier Viscount Veil Road, was frozen in disbelief as his third son, Kyle Gandarl Viscount Veil Road, stood there.

Persia and Alphard, who stood behind him, had similar expressions.

Only Myrna was on my lap, poking at the table.

"Um, let me say it again. We've completed 47 bottles of Universal Spirit Elixir, one hundred twenty-nine bottles of Suraa Sake that significantly boosts all abilities temporarily, and 73 bottles of Amrita that makes you younger by about a year."

"..."

Leafan was on the side, holding his head and squatting in exasperation. Well, yeah. What?

"Uh, Craft-san? Are you planning to pick a fight with the world?"

"Well, it might turn out that way once this gets out."

"Craft..."

The expression directed at me from Persia skipped all emotions and had already reached the realm of pity. Alphard let out a tired sigh.

"If something like this gets on the market, it could encourage invasions from other countries, you know?"

"Craft-kun, have you understood what you've done?"

"I told you! It was necessary to use up the precious Ambrosia Alchemical Potion!"

"I understand that, but..."

"Well, well. We can't do anything about what's already done. Let's think about what to do next."

Kyle came to my defense, and the tension eased for a moment.

"I have a plan! I'll present all of these to His Excellency Beilroad, the Frontier Earl!"

"That's the only option, huh?"

"While that is very welcome, but..."

Alphard pressed his temples.

"For now, let me use one Elixir on Kyle!"

"With this many, I don't think it's a problem, but..."

"Considering the possibility that only one could be made, it's much better this way, right!?"

"This is still a problem..."

I'm aware, but it can't be helped! I made what I could with the Ambrosia Alchemical Potion's expiration date in mind.

"Amrita can sometimes be found in dungeons, but if adventurers find it, they might retire on the spot, considering the nobles pay a fortune."

"That's true."

The most realistic success story for adventurers might be Amrita.

"Well, never mind. Craft, so with this elixir, Kyle-sama will be cured, right?"

"Yeah. I appraised it, and it cures all diseases, including moderate curses."

"Even curses?"

"It seems there are limits to that. Well, I haven't tried it, but..."

"Well, that's a problem, but..."

Persia pressed his forehead.

"So, a topical ointment...?"

Kyle, holding a small bottle, tilted his head.

"Yeah. But, Kyle, since you're sick, eat it."

"..."

The silence was painful.

It can't be helped! It's that kind of medicine!

"N-no, it's okay. Thank you."

"Eat... a topical ointment?"

"Let's not think too deeply about it."

A maid somehow took a spoon from somewhere and scooped up all the cream in the small bottle.

It was exactly a spoonful.

At first glance, it looks like sweet cream, but it's medicine.

"Ugh..."

Kyle, who received the golden spoon, let out a muffled groan.

I understand the feeling.

"Ugh... gulp!"

Determined, Kyle bit into the spoon.

"..."

"Kyle-sama?"

"!"

"What's wrong!?"

"It's sweet and delicious..."

"..."

Is that so? Elixirs are delicious?

Things are getting weird in various ways.

Kyle, who licked the spoon a bit shamelessly, looked regretfully at the spoon.

Was it that delicious?

"Ah... aah... aah!"

"What's wrong!?"

This time, Persia panicked.

Suddenly, tears overflowed from Kyle. It made us all stiffen.

"Did it not work!? Did it make you feel worse!?"

"Tch, that's not it."

Panicking Persia, Kyle, with tears streaming down, desperately replied.

"Th-the fatigue and pain that remained in the core of my body... it's like they were washed away by water. Everything cleanly disappeared..."

After that, he couldn't put it into words.

Kyle, with red eyes and swollen from crying, clung to Persia without any sense of shame, and Persia gently held his head.

We quietly left the room.

Good for you, Kyle.
