Bottom Tier 27

The Knowledge Level Of The Man Who Has Been Going Around For Several Weeks

"Whoa!?"

It seems like some adventurer messed up, and a scream echoed.

"Aaahhh!?"

"Uwaaa!?"

Terrified voices rose from different places.

Something happened?

Avoiding the crab's attack before me, I look at Ao-chan, and our eyes meet.

"Minato-kun! Something's wrong!"

"Wrong? What do you mean?"

"The battle that was going smoothly is becoming difficult."

"Difficult...?"

As I observe the party, it's clear that they are struggling against a single crab.

"That is—"

Although the crab was neither special nor a leader, upon closer inspection, it had a skill that increased physical attack and defense.

There's a support-type skill buffing these crabs—

The number of crabs with buffs gradually increases, and the opposing party is having a hard time.

At the level of adventurers taking on this quest, fighting a large number of buffed crabs would be challenging.

"Hey, you there fighting solo! The crabs have gotten stronger! You better run!"

The man who called out to me gets attacked by the crab.

"Ugh, damn...! You crab bastard!"

As he defends with his shield, the party's rear starts attacking with magic skills.

"Front-line, focus on defense and evasion! Rear-guard, concentrate on attacking!"

"Huh? Oh, okay! You, hurry up and run, okay?"

Without answering, I leave that spot and check the situation of other parties.

The first person I notice is a man swinging a staff alone.

"Are you okay?"

"You can see, can't you? It's not okay! The front line got taken out, and it's a mess!"

"Calm down. I'll be the target and draw them. Just attack as usual."

"Wait, 'as usual'? You're going to involve me in this!?"

"You won't get hit, so don't worry about it."

I sprint across the sandy beach, drawing about ten crabs after me.

"Even if it hits, I don't care, right!?"

A magic bullet of mana was released towards the approaching horde.

I step to the side, and a crab behind me takes the hit and flips over.

"That skill... a magician, right?"

"You figured that out, huh?"

"That was Bullet, right? You should know Sword Lance too."

"Huh, yeah?"

"Sword Lance can unleash multiple attacks when charged."

"Oh, really?"

"While it lacks the power of a bullet, the enemy momentarily stiffens after a direct hit. If you join the front-line party, the battle should become much easier."

"Oh, okay! Thanks!"

With that, I start running again.

By observing the battles and skills in use, the adventurers' levels seem to be around plus or minus 5 compared to the crabs.

By looking at their skills and equipment, I can tell their professions and what they've learned, making it easy to give advice.

I see a trio of a Gunslinger, a Hunter, and a White Mage.

"The enemy's physical defense is increased. Attacks with shells and claws won't do damage. Aim for the weak point, the belly, and attack."

"Shut up! We'll fight in our way! Don't interfere!"

"That's right. If we could easily aim for the belly, we wouldn't be struggling."

These people must have been attacking the enemy from outside their range like this until now.

"Don't get close!"

The man swings a Gunblade, a combination of a Rifle and a Sword.

If they allow the enemy to get close, it will only become a stick to drive them away.

What a waste.

"Die, you!"

He shoots for a moment, but the bullet is deflected by the shell with a clang.

The arrow from the supporting companion also fails to penetrate the shell, falling onto the sandy beach with a cheap sound.

"Close-range gunfire and the thrust immediately afterward are the true strengths of the gun blade. Gunslingers are not mid-range but close-range fighters. You can't demonstrate your job's true value if you're scared and only shoot from a distance."

"Who's scared, you bastard!?"

The man narrowed his eyes, seemed quite angered, and approached the crab.

"Shoot, then thrust... shoot, then thrust... shoot, then thrust..."

He muttered this repeatedly.

Huh.

Surprisingly straightforward.

Approaching the crab with the support of the Hunter, he aimed the tip of his sword at its belly, just as I had suggested.

"Die!"

Bang! The gunshot rang out, but he slightly missed the vital spot.

"Shoot, then thrust!"

The man had tears in his eyes.

It seemed quite frightening for him.

However, thanks to that, the attack hit the vital spot.

But that alone wouldn't defeat the crab.

"All bullets! Now!"

When I said that, the man squeezed the trigger multiple times, shooting the vital spot at point-blank range.

"Jabuu..."

And the crab disappeared, the man returning to his angry expression from the pitiful one.

"Wow, I defeated it!? Who are you!"

"Keep it up like that."

"Ugh... thanks!"

Despite being angry, he was a skilled guy who could express gratitude.

In this way, I went around advising each party.

Watching the parties that struggling and in a hurry gain confidence and defeat the enemies with just a few words of advice was truly rewarding.

There was a joy in being the support character and helping beginners.

The happiness of being thanked was unmatched.

If ever see someone in trouble in the future, I hope they remember today and kindly lend a hand.

My party switched tactics to conserve SP, using the strategy of attacking enemies with poisoned swords.

Whether the crab's physical attack and defense got buffed.

It didn't matter without resistance to poison.

All the crabs fell victim to the Severe Poison without exception.

Skill proficiency indeed tends to increase more slowly when facing weaker opponents in games.

The system notification says, <Reached the subjugation limit>, the system voice informs.

"Huh, already? Isn't that too fast!?"

Ao-chan is surprised.

"It's just a repetitive task of slashing until it becomes Severe Poison."

When you don't have to witness the defeat, the efficiency of subjugation increases significantly.

"Wow~. Even though others are struggling so much fighting in groups."

"The number of attacks and poison work well together."

"Minato-kun, are you, like, really smart or something...?"

Ao-chan looks at me with admiration.
