Helheim used Laevateinn as a shield to block Miyu's fist. He bent at the waist, changed her trajectory, and slipped under the giant sword, delivering a spinning kick.

However, Helheim gracefully stepped back and extended her palm.

Multiple fireballs were created from Helheim's palm, and a volley of flames shot towards me.

"Ouch!"

Regular fireballs didn't affect Miu, so she tried to receive them but was blown away. The flames burned her body, causing considerable heat.

"Piercing attribute, huh? That's why I don't like fighting gods."

Thanks to Jarngreipr, I wasn't inflicted with burns, so the flames disappeared quickly.

Gods in that level range always have piercing attributes on their martial arts and spells when fighting against God attribute enemies, so that was common in game dungeons designed for advanced players.

Piercing attributes negate resistance, reflection, and absorption. So, it was a moment of no-holds-barred when Helheim and Miuu decided to brawl without guarding.

"Well, exchanging techniques and strategies can be fun!"

I spread my arms like wings and glided. Fireballs passed behind me and hit the ground, forming a dome of flames that turned everything inside into ash.

These fireballs may look ordinary, but their power is on a different level when compared to those used by human characters.

"You should put more effort into your effects!"

[Hraesvelgr's Wing Blades]

Miu created semi-transparent wings on her back. God power circulated through the wings, and feathers scattered around.

"Slice through the enemy!"

Feathers fluttered in the air and stopped abruptly, surrounded by wind, forming a spiral as they flew towards Helheim. There was no slicing sound, and they approached Helheim with unpredictable, intricate movements.

"These are just tricks."

Helheim held Laevateinn steady and calmly countered.

[Grand Flame Flash]

She swung Laevateinn horizontally, producing a high-pitched sound, and a crimson flash ran through the approaching feathers, igniting an explosion. The feathers got incinerated by the flames and turned into ash.

"It seems you've acquired Hraesvelgr's power, but it won't be enough to defeat me, who became Surtr! A mere bird!"

[Flame Sword of Annihilation]

With an air of confidence, Helheim repeatedly swung Laevateinn. Her sword speed left only after images, and crimson rays were etched into space in a grid pattern, flying towards her.

"It seems impossible with bare hands. So, I'll use a sword too!"

[God Sword]

I retrieved the bladeless platinum hilt from my item box and faced the approaching crimson grid with it.

[Manifest.]

Particles of platinum were born from the hilt, forming a blade and making the surrounding space tremble.

[God Sword: Emperor Dragon]

Miu lightly swung the sword, and the platinum blade flexed like a whip. It unfolded like a dragon playing in the sky and collided with the crimson rays.

The shockwaves turned into waves, spreading outwards. The black clouds dispersed, the forest blown away, and the ground upheaved.

There was a roaring sound, and the terrain seemed to change as if the world were collapsing.

"Toyaa!"

"That's all you've got!"

We clashed their swords at high speed as she closed the distance between us. Miu sharply roars, but Helheim still has her composure.

"Heh heh heh!"

"I won't lose to a mere bird with sword skills!"

Miu switched back to a straight sword and swung her God Sword horizontally. When Laevateinn intercepted, she executed an upward strike from below. Helheim met it firmly and got pushed back. Miu launched a thrust by taking advantage of the recoil, but Helheim dodged it by flipping her body.

"This woman uses Surtr's sword skills, lady!"

Heimdall shouted in her ear. He definitely seemed experienced in battle.

"I thought you weren't used to close combat, but you're using secret arts."

What a cheat. I'm grinding levels and increasing proficiency the old-fashioned way, and you casually gain power like this. I have every right to be mad, right?

The clashing of swords and the sound of metal resounded as we continued their unyielding swordplay.

"Let me show you my versatile power!"

The flames surrounding Laevateinn responded to Helheim's words, surging even higher. Astonishingly, my God Sword gets deflected by the flames.

"It only materializes when it touches an enemy. It's just regular flames to me. That's why I can use this power!"

The flames enveloping Laevateinn exploded, attempting to engulf Miu.

I immediately tried to blow it away with a counter-magic, but my Hraesvelgr's Wind got deflected by the explosive flames as if hitting a solid fortress.
