I equipped my Impaling Blade and increased my attack power. 

Leaving Ao-chan behind, I approached Arachne once again. 

All the skills she could use as a Curse User are [Heavy Curse], [Modulation], [Dissonance]—in addition, I activated [Deception] and [Pyrotechnics].

[Deception] created an opening in the enemy's defenses, increasing my attack power during critical hits, and my Impaling Blade gets engulfed in flames. 

I swept away Human-Faced Spiders that leaped at me with my arm, cut the threads they used to move, and descended rapidly from above Arachne.

I thrust the blade, now held in reverse grip, into Arachne.

I screamed in revulsion and disappeared into the intense red flames.

Watching the Human-Faced Spiders flee, I switched my equipment back to the dagger.

Ao-chan descended slowly from the rocky area and rushed towards me.

In a shared moment of joy, I embraced Ao-chan as I leaped towards her.

Whether it was the adrenaline or the overwhelming emotions, I let go of my inhibitions just for that moment.
