Chapter 219.1. Festival

When we stepped onto the teleportation magic circle just beyond the boss's room.

We were enveloped in light and teleported back to the cave where we had started.

The teleportation magic circle beneath our feet shattered into particles of light.

I became concerned about Balzamunt and the others, so I went to check. There was another teleportation magic circle that was still intact, emitting a faint glow.

While waiting anxiously, a few minutes later, the magic circle began to shine brighter, and eventually, 11 Dwarf warriors, led by Bargamund-san, appeared.

The teleportation magic circle weakened its light and, just like the one we had used, shattered into pieces.

It seemed that the provisional Ice Dungeon Dwarf warriors had challenged had been successfully cleared.

We rejoiced at the reunion and victory with Bargamund-san and his comrades.

With the completion of Fire and Ice Dungeons, it should have been possible to prevent the monster overflow phenomenon.

The town would no longer be attacked by an excessive number of monsters, at least for the foreseeable future.

At this moment, a mission completion notification also appeared:

───────────────────────

Special Mission Monster Attack Issue in the Dwarf Settlement, Dagmahar Completed!

The entire party gained 100,000 experience points!

Musou Daichi leveled up to 40!

Kodachi Kazane leveled up to 40!

Yuzuki Hotaru leveled up to 42!

Current experience points:

Musou Daichi ... 55,7634/56,4547 (Next level: 6,913)

Kodachi Kazane... 55,8926/56,4547 (Next level: 5621)

Yuzuki Hotaru... 64,2301/72,0298 (Next level: 77997)

───────────────────────

Yuzuki alone had significantly more experience points and levels.

This was likely because she had dealt the finishing blow to both Fire Dragon and Fire Giant bosses.

Kazane-san and I were also close to leveling up.

If we followed the pattern we had experienced so far, our skill lists should see a significant update at level 41.

It was exciting, but I decided not to get my hopes up too much.

We left the cave along with the dwarf warriors.

It was still raining outside, but the surroundings were significantly brighter, and the rain had begun to lighten.

As we gazed up at the sky, the ink-black clouds were moving away, revealing patches of clear sky through the white clouds.

We donned our rain gear and returned to the village.

The rain eventually stopped, and the sky took on the colors of a sunset. When we arrived at the village, it was time to start preparing for dinner.

Bargamund-san and the group of warriors informed the village residents about the crisis' conclusion.

The villagers erupted in joy and cheers for the warriors.

Of course, we were among them.

For some reason, at Bargamund-san's signal, Dwarf warriors suddenly stepped back, leaving Yusefia-san, us, and the village residents at the center of attention.

Bargamund-san spoke in his usual strong voice.

"Thanks to the assistance of these human heroes, Daichi, Kazane, Hotaru, and my friend Yuseia, our village has been saved from an unprecedented crisis! Therefore, I want to honor these individuals as heroes of our village. What do you all say?"

The villagers responded with an even louder cheer.

Then, the preparations for the festival began.

The festival was meant to celebrate the village's escape from the crisis and the birth of new heroes.

Aside from the latter reason, dwarves in the village all seemed to be overflowing with joy.

For them, who had endured days of tension and worry due to continuous monster attacks, the festival symbolized their liberation from hardship.

As the night progressed and the preparations were complete, the festival began.

The celebration took place in the largest cave-like dwelling in the village, and its surrounding area.

Numerous tables were set up with a variety of sumptuous dwarf dishes and drinks.

Everyone could enjoy them freely in a buffet style.

As the guests of honor, we're given splendid formal attire.

It seemed like the outfit you'd see nobles wearing in a human city.

I wondered if it was appropriate to use such extravagant attire but had no choice but to graciously accept their generosity.

Both Kazane-san and Yuzuki transformed into elegant party dresses.

They looked beautiful, cute, and adorable, and just seeing them in those outfits made my heart race.

By the way, I was also wearing a noble-style party outfit from this world, but that's not really worth mentioning.
