25. Kenzaki, Humiliated 2 (Classmate's Perspective)
“Damn it! There’s no way… someone like you… could beat me!”
Kenzaki shouted as he charged forward.
Even if there were four opponents, it didn’t matter.
The real target was Shigure alone.
If he could just defeat him, victory was his—
But the Silver Knight blocked his path and stopped his charge.
It was the same energy shield skill from earlier.
“Damn it! RAAAAAAHHHHHHH!”
Kenzaki leaped into the air and unleashed a sonic shockwave from above.
“[Shield]!”
But Shigure covered it.
It seemed they had split the roles: the Silver Knight defended the front, while Shigure guarded the sky.
“Fine, close combat it is!”
Kenzaki landed and charged again.
Whoosh! Bam!
But this time, the Blue Knight and Red Mage fired magic swords and flames, keeping Kenzaki at bay.
He took damage, and was blown away.
“Damn it…”
His body was slashed and scorched all over, and his movements were finally slowing down.
He’d been relentlessly toyed with from the start.
Even with the [Beast Transformation] limiter fully released, he couldn’t even close the distance against the four’s coordinated attacks.
They’re strong—
He had to admit it.
“Kenzaki, you still wanna keep going?”
Shigure readied his sword.
“You said you were going to kill me—what if I said I’m going to kill you?”
“...!”
Kenzaki felt a shock that nearly stopped his heart.
Somewhere in his mind, he had underestimated it.
Even if he held murderous intent toward Shigure, he didn’t think Shigure would ever direct it back at him.
But now, Shigure was staring at him with a cold gaze.
A gaze filled with killing intent—or at least, that’s how Kenzaki felt.
“Kenzaki…”
Shigure stepped closer.
Next to him stood the Silver Knight.
Behind them, the Blue Knight and Red Mage were preparing to strike.
It’s hopeless, I can’t win—
Kenzaki had to admit it.
So, how would this battle end?
If their roles were reversed—
Kenzaki would beat his opponent senseless until he was satisfied, and wouldn’t stop until they surrendered or begged for forgiveness.
Not just any apology, either—he’d break them until they were stripped of all dignity.
So, what about Shigure?
(He’s going to break me until I submit, isn’t he?)
It was possible, he thought.
After all, Kenzaki had tormented Shigure relentlessly until now.
To Shigure, his hatred for Kenzaki must run deep.
“Kenzaki.”
Shigure had closed the distance to just a few meters and stopped.
An attack was coming—
In that instant, Kenzaki found himself, almost unconsciously, groveling on the ground.
“P-please, forgive meeeeeeee...!”
He couldn’t control himself.
His heart had lost to fear—it was a humiliating plea for mercy.
