25.2. Thanks To My Comrades, I Could Endure It, Isn't It

Thud!

With a resounding roar that shook the earth, a massive rock plummeted towards the dragon's head.

Gyaaaaa!?

Caught off guard by the massive rock's weight, even a dragon had no choice but to lower its head to the ground.

If magic gets nullified, then hit it with physical force!!

"I got it!!!"

Emerged from the scene was, of course, Persia.

Scaling the massive dragon's head, she swiftly approached the horn resembling a large tree.

"""Take this!! [Whirlwind Phoenix Slash]! [Thunderous Assault Slash]! [Radiant Flash]! [Shadowless Combo Attack]!!!"""

Unleashing terrifyingly powerful techniques in an unrelenting combo.

However, facing the world's strongest dragon, the target was its horn.

Can it be destroyed with a single fierce onslaught!?

But, my worries were in vain.

One of the world's hardest substances, the dragon's horn was splendidly, broken. No, the cut surface shone like a mirror.

"What!?"

I couldn't help but raise my voice.

Hard mithril, combined with Sharp Oil and Persia's technique, resulted in such devastating power!!

"Here's our chance! Everyone, unleash all your attacks! Frontline, charge in! Don't fear friendly fire!"

"Woooaahhhhh!!!!"

Persia, not to be outdone, Raidoc also charged in, delivering all their techniques.

Explosive arrows flew from both sides, and the frontline warriors were determined to risk it all.

Explosions consecutively occurred throughout the dragon's body. Occasionally, frontline warriors were caught and thrown, but as long as they weren't dead, everyone continued to deliver all their attacks.

Thrown away by the raging dragon's foreleg, Persia was sent flying.

Bouncing off the ground, blood sprayed from her entire body.

"Persia!!!"

"Don't... worry! Finish... it!!!"

After gritting my teeth once, I gulped down a mana potion.

For a moment, I considered holding back attacks for the sake of the earth wall, but now was the time to attack, so I raised my staff.

"Die! You lizard bastard! [Thunder God's Lightning Hammer Strike]!!!"

One of the most formidable magics I could wield. It's a gigantic lightning magic that was unleashed.

Powerful lightning pierced the dragon's body from the sky, whitening the entire surroundings.

The lightning that entered through the wounds scorched the dragon's internal organs directly.

Gyaaaooooooo!!!

The scream reaching the heavens was undoubtedly the dragon's death throes.

Its colossal body slowly tilted, fell, and shook the ground.

For a while, the adventurers couldn't move.

And then, they slowly understood.

We had won.

"""""Woooaahhhhh!!!!""""

It was a soulful victory cry.

Facing a legendary dragon, no one died.

Truly a miracle.

For a long, long time, the victorious cheers echoed.

"So, we can pick all the Ambrosia flowers, right?"

"Yeah. I've appraised them many times, but these flowers won't grow unless there's a dragon. Leaving them will only cause them to wither."

"I see... It would have been nice if they could grow in this area."

"I understand now why they were called legendary plants."

"Why? There are plenty of flowers not trampled on. Shouldn't we have enough for our needs?"

"Probably."

"Now, about the dragon's materials..."

"As per our contract, the skin, meat, and scales belong to the adventurers' guild. Everything else goes to Kyle."

"Got it. He's currently dismantling it desperately, so I'll leave the storage to you."

"Yeah... But can you store something this huge?"

"Do I look like I know something you don't..."

"That's true. If it doesn't fit, we'll have to ask adventurers to guard here while making round trips."

"Fair enough."

The agreement with the adventurers' guild was to hand over the pre-agreed rewards and the dragon's meat, skin, and scales. The guild would distribute the profits or equivalent materials among the participating adventurers.

Since such procedures were troublesome, we tossed them all at once.

By the way, even though I, Jitaro, and Persia weren't members of the adventurers' guild, we were ensured to receive our rewards.

"Wooooaahhh! Amazing! Look at this!!"

An adventurer, who was working on dismantling, shouted.

The thing he held high in the sky was a gigantic magic stone, about the size of a human body.

"This... Kyle's got a nice souvenir."

"Rather, won't this become a source of trouble?"

Raidoc. Are you also trying to set flags?

And so, our dragon-slaying mission was brilliantly successful.
