Chapter 53.2. It's Finally Time For The Debut Party!
"Mii-chan, you look like a princess today."
"Yes, you look adorable, Mii-chan."
"Wow, thanks, Mama and Papa!"
Mii-chan dives for her mom and dad. She's a beautiful little girl with a smile that glistens with happiness.
She's so spoiled, and her face relaxes with happiness as her parents pat her head with a gentle smile, ahehe. A kind family is the best.
"Mii-sama always heals me."
"Let's hug Tamamo too, hug~."
Ho-ho, Yamiyo swoons and Tamamo opens her arms, so we dive in. They cackle and hug and laugh at each other.
"It looks good on you, Yamiyo."
"It looks good on you, Tamamo."
"You all look so beautiful!"
Yamiyo's mother and Tamamo's parents come into the living room to compliment her. Yamiyo's mother has black hair, black eyes, and a figure that fits the name Yamato Nadeshiko, and she's wearing an expensive-looking kimono. Tamamo's parents wear kimonos for going out. My parents are also the same. I think there's a price difference, but I'm not sure, and my parents are the best in that they love me, so there's no problem.
The parents greet each other and say a few words about the weather and other current events.
"Oh, you look great, young lady. Costume for a horse kid?"
The older sister teases. I already feel comfortable joking around with these ladies.
"Hee hee, isn't he cute?"
I smile back at her, imitating a horse, and she giggles back.
The ones who appear in a flash are the older sisters who have become Miu's new guards. They're wearing magic armor, but over that, they are wearing solid, sturdy-looking clothes. Yes, they are wearing them.
Well, the women were in magical armor like leotards. In the original story, only young girls and beautiful women were wearing it, so I wasn't aware of it, but it must be tough for old people. I see, so this is what happens.
The older woman changes her grin to a smile and shows me her wristwatch.
"It's about time. Security is all set. Let's get going.
"Yes! Let's go!"
"Not yet. I have to get my hair done first."
I lift one hand and cheerfully answer as my mom grabs me and tucks my hair. Perfectly equipped! I'm ready to head into the last dungeon.
When we get outside, the guards are standing there. It's the old men's party Martini and the older women's party Adamantine Fortress.
The origin of the old men's party Martini is that they hope to become wealthy enough to drink martinis at any time. I heard the Adamantine Fortress represents an iron wall. I think I like the name of the party better than Martini. I like playful party names.
The old men, who are a little tired, want to retire halfway and focus on guarding people.
The Adamantine Fortress is a genuine guard adventurer. I hear it's a party full of trust.
The leader onee-san's nickname is Adamantine. She won't tell me her real name. I guess it's something to do with a lot of things. She has an awesome face and a large build of 190 centimeters or so. She wears yellow magic armor with reinforcement marks in various places. She seems to play the role of a tank.
They also have a spearman, wind magician, bowman, spiritist, and summoner. This party is suitable for escorting. They told me that I could use them in my self-introduction. So I applied for it as my job. I don't have a job in real life, but I made it easy to remember.
The party in Adamantine Fortress is well thought out. Archers have familiars, and spirit users, and summoners can use spirits and monsters. Even if the opponent tries to attack in numbers, we can also counter with numbers.
An archer receives a report with his familiar falcon on his arm. Since the familiar can use [View Sharing] and [Reading Comprehension], I report in human language. I've petted it several times, but it's a cute falcon. A hawk that speaks the human language is a fantasy, and I was deeply moved. It can use simple magic and seems to be reasonably strong.
I have a similar job, [Hunter], and a familiar frame, but I haven't summoned it. In the game, it was only useful in combat, so I used a powerful mammoth as my familiar, but in real life, I'm at a loss as to what to do with it. Because there's no [View Sharing] or [Reading Comprehension]. It's the game's downside.
A magically armored limousine and a fleet of cars parked in front of my house is. It stands out so much that neighbors are peeking in, but when I smile and wave goodbye, they smile back and say hello. I need to socialize with my neighbors.
We get into the limousine. Yamiyo and the others follow. They're parents, Yamiyo, Yamiy's mother, Tamamo, and me. Unfortunately, Tamamo's parents are in a different car. By the way, Ouga has worked at the Imperial Castle, so he's heading there first.
"Well then, let's go to the castle!"
"Ou!"
"Ou!"
Miu exclaims, raising one hand, and Yamiyo and the others pump their fists in the air. I'm looking forward to the party. I'm sure there will be lots of delicious food.
"Hmm?"
And that's when I realized something. Or rather, I remember.
"A party?"
"What's wrong, Mii-sama?"
"No, it's nothing."
Yamiyo asks me with a dubious look, but I shake my head and answer.
……But I remembered something that bothered me a little. A flashback scene of the past appears when the saint appears in Volume 2. Wasn't it a party? A memorable scene where the main character and the saint meet.
It was written as a special memory, but. Don't worry a little. Until Volume 10, the saint was in position, and she only had occasional appearances. So I don't remember that much.
I should ask Munin just to be sure. I'll call Frigg, too.
