Chapter 12.2. Another Reincarnator
-???'s POV-
Masatoshi, who was a big fan of The Night of Magic, had read the story, the enemy organizations, and the novel's setting, and knew everything about it. I also considered myself a god-like being. The game version was said to be a destruction of the original work and was made by taking the best parts of other famous game blockbusters, as a fan of the original work, I did not even touch it.
They added some challenging elements for gamers, but all the magic was appropriate, and there was no such magic in the original work, such as the Flame Arrow I. What the heck is "Flame Arrow I"? The attributes, summons, and everything else were all copied from other games, and although the game became quite popular among gamers, as a fan of the original, I swore I would never play it.
Well, I don't care about the game version. This is a novel world, and I am a talented character, awakening my [Mana] at 7. My body is the same as the original version. Because of my serious training, I'm already C-ranked at 9 years old. If I continue my training in body art and magic, I could defeat the protagonist.
However, I did not intend to make it a development in which the normal mob would play an active role. Because I didn't mean to be polite.
-3rd person POV-
Masatoshi in the original story is a violent person who easily beats people up. He was a man who took it out on his servants and turned his magic on them. Because of this, his brother, who later becomes the hero's companion, defeats the novel Masatoshi's position as successor, but I decided to go along with the original story.
That is known as a "Sama-chan" (a return to the original story).
The triumphant fall begins with the protagonist's involvement at the time of his entrance into the school. The protagonist was originally the eldest son of a duke. However, his [Mana] did not awaken, and he got thrown out. At that time, a witch picks him, and he turns out to be a user of the void attribute, and after training, he enters the academy.
That is a template, where Masatoshi cursed the hero because of why the hero could enter the school, wanted to expel the hero, made a fool of the hero, and had a duel. The situation at that time is the bottleneck.
When Masatoshi makes fun of the hero, his former fiancée from the Marquis' household defends him. She is angry at the hero before the duel and tells the hero that Masatoshi is stronger than the hero, and then they duel.
Masatoshi remembers the conversation that ensued.
"If I win, you must be my obedient pet.", Masatoshi says to his fiancé girl. Of course, the girl answers, "It's okay." The duel begins, Masatoshi gets beaten up according to the template, and the downfall of his life begins. It will be a wonderful situation.
-Masatoshi POV-
"But what if I win? Heh heh heh."
The girl I'm engaged to has a proud personality. If I win, she won't complain about being treated like a pet. I'm excited about that. I can do the thin book development myself. I make her sit on her midriff and order her to stick out her tongue. I love to see a proud woman's face as she endures humiliation. I love the look of a proud woman who has to endure the humiliation of a woman knight.
I know the hero's weakness from novels. If I put in the effort, I'm sure I could win. The hero would never imagine I would know his weakness. If I play my cards right, I could defeat the hero with a single blow. I can't wait to see the looks on everyone's faces.
I'll take heroine is taken from the insensitive hero by force. How fun that sounds. I'm going to take away the other events and steal the heroine. If I have enemies that are stronger than me, I can force them onto the hero.
That is what makes being reincarnated as a mob worth it. It was still a long way off, but Masatoshi was grinning and looking forward to the future.
I am a big fan of the original story, and if I came to that world, I would want to be the hero. I want to be a hero because I have powerful powers. That was impossible in my previous life, and even though I was a big fan of the original work, I was a piece of trash compared to it.
"Young Master. The car is ready."
The butler tells me as he opens the door.
"Okay. I'm on my way."
I had never had such a pompous attitude in my previous life. I laughed, glad to have been reincarnated.
I set off gracefully, legs crossed, in a magically-impregnated, armored limousine, to head for the dungeon. Besides Masatoshi's ride, several other cars with escorting adventurers follow.
"What's the dungeon like?"
The Night of Magic has a dungeon in the background. However, the novel did not carry that much detailed information. Because it was a school fantasy rather than a dungeon story, there were several volumes of dungeon attack stories, but there were no detailed descriptions of the hierarchy.
Today is the first time I have attacked a dungeon. Although I didn't plan to attack a dungeon only through combat, I was a little anxious.
"Yes, Young Master. This is the dungeon of the immortals. All the monsters are weak against fire, so I thought it would be just right for your first battle."
The butler knew the kid was a strong magician, personality aside. However, he chose a dungeon that looked easy because of the eventuality of combat.
"Magic stones are cheap, and immortal materials are astringent.."
"Oh, no problem. I have plenty of money."
With a wave of my hand, Masatoshi did not care. It's because I was the son of a duke. There is plenty of money to roar about.
"Also, I heard that the eldest daughter of the Imperial Marquis family is also training in this dungeon."
"The Marquis family? Who's the eldest daughter of the Imperial Castle family?"
"Teijo Yamiyo-sama, isn't it?"
Yamiyo? Ah hmm? That dark-rooted wakame? I can't describe her, but she's in a place like this. It's hilarious.
The name Yamiyo sounds familiar. I believe she was left in the care of a branch family and bullied during this period. She was another character that I didn't like. She was dark, and her character was creepy. On top of that, she was a stalker, and the way she spoke irritated me. I used to wonder on message boards why the author wrote that character. I laughed so hard when they cut her out of the anime.
"If I see you, I'll abuse you a little, kukuku."
Masatoshi left it in the corner of his memory, as he didn't particularly need to worry about it.
