Introverted Archer 37

Test

37. Rational Listener Activity!

Then the collab stream between Mashita and Mirai was announced. The schedule was set, and before I knew it, the day of the stream had arrived.

Despite the last-minute recruitment for Mirai's conquering party, it seemed they managed to gather 35 people. Of course, I wasn't included among them.

Since the day the collaboration got decided, I had been repeatedly poked by Mashita, so it couldn't be helped.

However, leaving it as it is seems a bit unreasonable.

"Well, I guess I'll watch the stream from here, for now."

Sitting on a tree near the dungeon entrance, I took my smartphone from my pocket.

"...No, there's no need to do that."

I have an <Observer>. Just by standing here, I can check the situation inside without delay. That's more rational.

Up to the 10th floor, I can perceive without any issues.

I took a deep breath and directed my consciousness into the dungeon.

"Hey! Devil's Tongue is here! Today, as announced, we're going to crush the Golem on the 10th floor!"

Oh, it seems like the stream has started!

Mashita spoke to the round camera of the recording equipment. A large number of people were lined up behind him.

Looking at it again, it's an impressive number. Also, the atmosphere among the members seems quite different from the last time during Mirei's stream. Many people have a flashy appearance.

Among those members, Mirei and her viewers are also present.

Mirei seems a bit less comfortable than usual, with a slightly sulky expression.

"So, our current location is the 1st floor. Let's go straight from here! If you're late, we'll leave you behind!"

When Mashita raised his arm, his viewers cheered excitedly.

Perhaps due to the popularity of Mashita, the party members seemed quite lively.

This scene is directly linked to the quality of the dungeon conquest. These people cleared the 1st floor, 2nd floor, and 3rd floor.

But that atmosphere didn't last long.

"Hey, you guys are slow! You're dragging your feet!"

While the frontline team was intercepting the monster attacks, Mashita and his two followers stepped forward.

Ignoring the danger, they mowed down the monsters. Looking only at the results, it's Mashita's success.

However, not everyone is pleased with that.

"Wait, what are you guys doing recklessly!? That was dangerous!"

The one who voiced her concern was Mirei. She approached Mashita with an angry expression.

"What's the problem? We won, so who cares about the method?"

"You're saying it was dangerous if we made a slight mistake. The plan was for the Paladin to block attacks in the front, and during that time, the rear guard would attack!?"

"Tch, annoying... who cares about that? We're doing a dangerous stream here."

"It's fine if you guys get into danger. But what you just did might leave openings for the monsters. Then other members could also be affected, you know!?"

Objectively, Mirei's opinion is more rational. There are valid points in Mashita's opinion as well. There are situations where individuals should move freely. But that's only if Mashita has the strength to single-handedly destroy all enemies on the frontline.

Unless there is an individual with outstanding strength in this party, it is undoubtedly more efficient to unite and process monsters. So, Mashita just went on a rampage.

"Shut up!"

At that moment, the enraged Mashita shoved Mirei away. After a loud thud, the members were surprised and fell silent.

"I'm the leader of this party! Don't give me orders, it pisses me off!"

Mashita clicked his tongue at Mirei, who was lying on the ground, then turned around and gave a smirk to the other members.

"We're free to conquer however we want. If we create a highlight in this stream, viewers will remember us. In other words, we can gain popularity. Isn't that obvious enough for you idiots?"

I see. The companions gathered by Mashita this time are individuals who want to gain influence.

If they aim to increase their popularity through this stream - the most rational method is to achieve results through individual play and attract the viewers' attention.

"Ignore the stiff format! From here on, everyone conquers the way you want!"

Mashita's companions raised their voices in response. Mirei could only watch it with a frustrated expression.

Now it's the 4th floor. Even if individuals move freely, there won't be much hindrance because the monsters aren't strong.

However, the true test of this approach will come in the 10th-floor area—around the 8th or 9th floor, where dealing with monsters through individual strength alone becomes challenging.
