I got up to level 7 in yesterday's dive, but there was no level-up today.

I got the skill [Spear Attack Power Up (+6)], which increases my attack power.

Kodachi-san's level increased with the time she spent diving in dungeons solo while I was working part-time.

 In addition to [Double Treasure Chest Drop Rate], Kodachi-san's got [Dagger Attack Power Up] skill as expected.

Yuzuki's level has increased by 3  in one fell swoop just today, thanks to the results of her aggressive experience giving.

When acquiring skills at level 4, she selected [Magic Power Up (+1)], adding to his magical power monster status.

Next is our income.

The number of magic stones exchanged for cash, divided equally among the three was small, and my take-home pay was only 8,640 yen.

Considering we had been exploring the dungeon for about eight hours, from 8:00 in the morning to around 5:00 in the evening, it was a pretty tough amount.

However, I knew my income would temporarily drop when we added Yuzuki to our party, so I guess that's about the same as it was.

But there is a multiplier.

The sale price of the Broadsword that came out of the treasure chest gave us a bonus of 4,500 yen per person.

In addition, we had also obtained a bottle of HP potion, so for Kodachi-san to take this back, an additional bonus of +JPY500 for Yuzuki and me.

That is huge.

Thanks to this, we had a reasonable amount of income.

When I praised Kodachi-san for her skills around the treasure chest, she get embarrassed.

Cute. I'll praise Kodachi-san more and more whenever I get the chance.

Yuzuki, on the other hand, looked a little dissatisfied when she saw the final amount of income.

"Is this the reward for a life-threatening job...? It's pretty bad." 

Hearing that, Kodachi-san and I smiled, grabbed Yuzuki's left and right arms and shoulders, and held her down firmly.

"Eh, eh, what is it, you two ......? Your smiles are scary! Did I say something bad?"

"Yuzuki. You should dive into the dungeon by yourself first. You should have known the reality."

"Yes. Hotaru-chan, shall I tell you how much I earned on my first day exploring the dungeon?

"Hey, did I step on a land mine? I'm sorry!"

Yuzuki was shaking with tears in her eyes.

Well, I don't blame you for feeling that way.

We are doing "life-threatening work", it makes us want to have high expectations.

Aside from that, we finished educating our kouhai who don't know if it's a joke or serious, and we're on our way home.

When we reached the bicycle parking lot, I asked Yuzuki.

"Yuzuki, how was your day?"

"It was super fun! It was a lot of fun, mostly because I was with Rikusou-senpai and Kazane-san, but I want to explore the dungeon more too!"

My kouhai answered with a twinkle in her eye.

That's good to hear.

I looked at Kodachi-san, then we give each other a thumbs-up.

"Okay, let's decide on our next plans then."

"Yes, sir! I've also decided on mine! I'm going to quit my part-time job and join the two of you as a serious seeker!"

"For real?"

"For real!"

"That makes me happy too, but..."

I can imagine the manager's lifeless eyes as he was the mainstay of his part-time job, Yuzuki too.

I'm sorry, but I want you to live strong.

"Are you okay, Kazane-san?" 

"Eh...? Of, of course, you are very welcome. It's going to be lively from now on."

"I know I'm the culprit, but your feelings are complicated." 

"Wh-what is it...?"

"No, it's fine if you say so. Either way."

Yuzuki shrugged her shoulders.

I don't know what it is, but that gesture is strangely annoying.

And so, today's search is over.

The three of us had dinner together and then disbanded.

I have another five days of part-time work, and I plan to rendezvous with Kodachi-san in six days.

Incidentally, my part-time job will end after these five days.

Yuzuki and I will dive into the dungeon again on the same day of the week next week.

I'll be a full-time seeker in a little while, and I'll have some time off.
