Seeker 5

Test

Chapter 5. My First Dungeon Exploration (3)

After that, I continued to explore the vast dungeon for about an hour.

At that time, I encountered kobolds twice, both of which I beat without injury.

Perhaps it was because my agility had improved, but I felt my movements were lighter, and it was somewhat easier to deal with the kobold.

However.

"Two kobolds at last!"

It was about time to leave the dungeon for lunch.

Finally, I encountered two kobolds.

The old man at the armory had told me to be careful when I encountered more than one kobold, but even without that, I could see how troublesome they could be.

There is a difference in difficulty between dealing with one kobold twice and dealing with two kobolds.

It would be nice if there was a narrow passage somewhere where the two could not attack at the same time, but I couldn't find such a thing anywhere in the vicinity.

The passageway in the cave is rather wide.

On average, they are about twice as wide and tall as I am.

While I was looking around, two kobolds were rushing toward me.

"Well, I guess we'll just have to do it."

I know it's a tough fight, but I don't feel like I'm going to lose.

I decided to meet the two kobolds head-on with my spear in hand.

I'm not going to let them beat me.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch."

After a few dozen seconds of mortal combat, the two kobolds had turned into two magical stones.

But I, too, was not unscathed.

I couldn't parry the enemy's attack and was hit in the left shoulder by the dagger of one of the kobolds.

The damage was not fatal, but it hurt, and red blood oozed from the wound and stained my clothes.

However, Seekers are much less likely to die than ordinary people, and their natural healing power is incomparably higher.

Even deep cuts and stab wounds will stop bleeding in less than a minute, and even damaged organs can be restored to normal after a night's rest, as long as the person does not lose their life.

I'm already not a human being.

Thus, a dagger to the shoulder is far from a fatal wound for a seeker.

I can afford to open my status and check my HP before healing.

The HP was (20/24) when I checked it.

That's a 4-point reduction in HP. Understood.

The mental shock from the first damage had disappeared, and now I was in a state where I could continue with my activities, but as expected, I decided to use magic to recover.

"[Earth Heal]."

I put my hand on the wound and used recovery magic, the pain subsided, and my body felt better.

I turned my clothes over and saw that the wound was so clean that I couldn't even tell where I was stabbed before.

When I checked my status, I found that my HP was "24/24" and my MP was "17/21.

The MP consumption of [Earth Heal] is 4.

I don't know about the amount of recovery, but at least it is enough to fully recovered from 4-points wounds.

"Okay, let's go home once."

I picked up the two Kobold magic stones, threw them into my wallet, and headed home.

I think it's fine to continue in terms of status, but I didn't bring any lunch.

You can't fight a war if you're hungry.

So we returned home.

Incidentally, we encountered another kobold on our way back and defeated it.

At this point, I leveled up.

Musou Dai

Level: 3 (+1)

Experience: 32/70

HP: 27/27 (+3)

MP:20/24 (+3)

Strength: 9 (+1)

Endurance: 9(+1)

Agility: 7

Magic: 8(+1)

[Earth Heal]

[Mapping].

Remaining skill points: 1 (+1)

My level increased from 2 to 3, and Strength, Endurance, and Magic Power increased by 1 point each.

I also gained some skill points, but it is still 1 point.

My HP and MP increased by 3 points each, which would be "Endurance x 3" and "Magic x 3" if I did not have any particular skill of that type.

I'll get new skills after leaving the dungeon.

I walked back to the magic circle at the dungeon entrance and transferred to the cave on the bank by the river.

After my first dungeon exploration, I returned to the surface for the first time in several hours.
